Beautiful Panorama on Mars
NASA’s Curiosity rover, which has been on Mars for nine years now, has just taken a great, full-color panorama of the Gale crater.
You can see a the panorama video released by JPL below, and it is even narrated to explain everything you are seeing. The resolution is stunning, and is even more impressive when they zoom in on certain areas of the panorama with no real lose in detail. You can even see the mountains of the crater’s rim over 20 miles (30 km) away.
