How Did Knights Live?

I’ve just stumbled upon a fantastic YouTube channel called Modern History, which is run by Jason Kingsley, the Modern Knight. Jason Kingsley is, quite truly, an actual knight, having been awarded knighthood as an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE). In addition, he trains as a Medieval Knight, trains his own horses, and researches and experiments to work out how knights (as well as both commoners and nobles in the Medievel period) lived and fought.

He has a lot of videos, and they are of a high enough production quality that they could easily be mistaken as History Channel documentaries. To be honest, the quality of content surpasses most History Channel documentaries by a wide margin.

Here’s a playlist that should start his Knights series. If you are even the least bit interested in knights, or simply life in Medieval times, these are must-see videos.
