SpaceX to go to Mars
According to Elon Musk, SpaceX has its ambitious sights set on Mars — and has since the beginning. “The reason SpaceX was created was to accelerate development of rocket technology, all for the goal of establishing a self-sustaining, permanent base on Mars,” he revealed at the International Space Development Conference.
Elon Musk, who’s a bit like Tony Stark when you think about it, goes on to talk about the successful landing of its reusable rocket, as well as future development of the Falcon Heavy rocket, which will be almost as powerful as the Saturn V. The Falcon Heavy will be capable of sending payloads and people to the Moon and Mars.
If the NASA isn’t going to do it, at least Tony Stark will… I mean, Elon Musk.
